About Me
Hey there, thank you for taking the time to explore my portfolio! I'm Christian Albiar (AL-B-R), a dedicated Game Sound Designer with a deep passion for video games. My roots lie in Shafter, CA, and I currently reside in Bellevue, WA. Embracing my role as a Sound Designer, I find immense joy in approaching sound creation from a player's perspective. I see it as my humble contribution to enrich the gaming community by enhancing experiences through my craft. Presently, I'm currently at ArenaNet, pouring my creativity into the role of Sound Designer. Before this, I had the privilege of serving as a VO/SFX Designer at Riot Games on a contract basis. Prior to these enriching experiences, my journey in the industry started at Somatone Interactive, where I delved into the realms of Technical Sound Design, focusing on both sound creation and game audio implementation. Throughout my career, I've collaborated on an array of titles across mobile and console platforms.
Main Skills: Sound Design, Audio Mixing, VO Editing, Unity, FMOD, Wwise, Reaper, Jira, and Perforce.
Additional Skills: Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Basic C# and C++, Basic Music Theory, and Unreal Engine.
